Experience the thrill of coming face-to-face with one of the ocean’s most powerful predators on this unforgettable shark cage diving adventure. You can choose convenient hotel pickup from Cape Town or Hermanus, or travel independently and meet the boat in Gansbaai.

Your day begins at the lodge with a freshly prepared continental breakfast, including baked goods, cereals, yogurt, toast, cold meats, tea, and coffee — the perfect start before heading out to sea.

Before departure, the experienced skipper and marine crew will provide a safety briefing and share fascinating information about Great White sharks and the marine ecosystem of the Southern Cape. The team operating in this region has extensive experience and deep knowledge of local shark behavior.

Once at sea, you will spend approximately 2 to 4 hours on the water, depending on shark activity. Guests enter the secure diving cage in small groups, with each participant enjoying around 20 minutes in the cage for an up-close viewing experience.

No diving certification is required. All necessary equipment, including high-quality wetsuits and safety gear, is provided to ensure comfort and safety throughout the activity.

After returning to shore, relax back at the lodge and enjoy a light lunch while sharing stories and photos from your incredible marine adventure. Each participant also receives a certificate to remember this unique experience.
